This project arose from the incentive of people who knows my career. Those people always interact with my posts about science on my social media. Another reason is that since I started to work in my current job, I have been reflecting that as a scientist, I don’t want to only develop and publish results, but also have an important role in society. Why? Because I believe that everything we research directly impacts the lives of people, who also are, many times, our financing source, considering that research is mainly financed by public resources. Therefore, my main objective is to talk about relevant subjects to the population, in an easy-to-access language.
 
I want also to be useful to researchers, showing some tools and useful tips. Furthermore, I hope to discuss subjects involved in our profession that are usually not highlighted. For me, the most important is the correction of science: what it is, its function and how we can contribute to a coherent literature.
